| Description |
|
| Part of the core team responsible for defining, developing, and transitioning to production of highly efficient, integrated and discrete LED drivers and control solutions. This position will include theoretical analysis, design and test of switching power supplies and power conversion products for High Brightness LED driver (HBLED) applications and systems. |

| Requirements |
|
| MS Degree in Electrical Engineer, PhD preferred. Five+ years experience designing/defining systems for power electronics. Project management skills as the lead role for mid-size development projects. Knowledge and application of UL/CE relating to power supplies. Experince with circuit modeling tools (MatLab, Simulink, Spice, PSim). Experience with power electronics product design utilizing power semiconductors such as IGBTs, IGCTs, thyristors, MOSFETs and closed-loop PWM control systems. Understanding of power electronics thermal design considerations. Experience designing AC filter circuits including custom inductors. Experience writing articles for technical or trade publications and/or patent applications a plus
