| Description |
|
| Design and Analysis of multi-megawatt grid-connected PV Power Systems, including DC Distribution, Inverters, Transformers, AC Transmission, and Grid-tie Interconnection sub-systems. System- and component-level performance modeling, stress-test simulation, and Failure Mode Analysis. Quantitative optimization of system design under a comprehensive LCOE model. Specification and documentation of component and system requirements and working with vendors and contractors to critically evaluate and approve design proposals. Supporting overall Product Development, Project Operations and Business Development efforts

| Requirements |
|
| MS/MEng in EPOW/EE or a related field, or a BS with strong work experience. 3-8 years work experience desired. A detailed understanding of Power Systems design and analysis. Experience with and a detailed understanding of primary utility-scale power components, including their performance, reliability and cost characteristics and trade-offs. Practical experience with a large scale grid interconnect systems. Familiarity with NEC regulatory requirements for PV Power Systems. Experience working with and managing third-party contractors. Project Management experience a plus. Renewable industry or utility experience a plus
