| Description |
 |
| Focus on system, component and design qualification and reliability for switching power inverters. Experience with implementing and running a total quality program with an emphasis on design for reliability. Establish component and product quality systems for design and manufacture to ensure product quality exceeds goals. Direct and validate external reliability consultant proposals and test plans for robustness & supervise all reliability testing. Interface with product marketing to ensure customer usage model is developed and integrated into quality system & plans. Drive business-case Quality value decisions in all new projects. Establish supplier quality process survey & conduct supplier qualifications. Total manufacturing quality issues. Act as quality advocate in functional test plan review. Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve product quality & reliability. |

| Requirements |
 |
| BS Engineering with at least 8 years experience in Quality Engineering for electronics systems. Working knowledge of, and familiarity with, modern reliability engineering practices and tools. Direct experience with MIL 217 and Telcordia reliably models. At least 2 years experience with Power Electronics Quality and/or Reliability. |
