| Our client is a world class manufacturer and distributor of electronic power supplies and a leading global electronics company, and seeks a qualified Senior Power Design Engineer to design and develop electronic components, equipment, systems, and products by performing the following duties. |

| Requirements |
 |
| ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
AC-DC design skills a must
PCB layout skills a must
• Circuit design, magnetic design, troubleshooting, repairing, modification, testing, report generation, data analysis including statistical study, electrical simulation and verification, component de-rating and MTBF analysis, familiarity with microcontroller software and firmware design.
• Analyzes data to determine feasibility of product proposal.
• Confers with research personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develops design.
• Prepares or directs preparation of product or system layout and detailed drawings and schematics.
• Directs and coordinates manufacturing or building of prototype product or system.
• Plans and develops experimental test programs.
• Analyzes test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.
• Confers with research and other engineering personnel and prepares design modifications as required.
• Evaluates engineering test results for possible application to developments of systems or other uses
• Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to formulate and test electronic designs.
• Use computer assisted project scheduling software to facilitate overall project planning and management.
• This position may be required to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Master's degree (MS/ME) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires minimum ten+ years of power supply design related experience
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Must possess the ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel with the aptitude to learn new software programs quickly.
• Ability to effectively present information to management and/or small groups.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills; attention to detail is a must.
• Some travel may be required, including international travel.
• Successful candidate will be highly motivated, team oriented and well-organized. Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities.
