| The Director of Test Operations will report to the COO. Lead Manufacturing efforts of the Silicon Valley Test, Sort & Mark / Pack group, inclusive of Equipment Engineering and Maintenance and Production personnel. Responsible for providing strategic and tactical know-how to the Test team in an effort to create a best-in-class manufacturing environment. Provide strategic direction to the Test team with respect to processes, tooling and manufacturing methodologies. Responsible for creating an environment where predictability, high yield and low cycle time are the norm and process control is an everyday part of life. Direct involvement in financial decisions regarding production capacity investments and will liaise heavily with the Product Development teams, for products early in the development cycle, to enable the next generation of products to hit the market windows. Understand the critical service levels required from this operation and define a plan to address these types of service levels. Have the flexibility to manage the co-existence of both production and Engineering through the selection of key personnel in Production and maintenance. Responsible for the Test Floor financial budget with respect to operational expenses and capital budget. Responsible for on time delivery performance and quality of our high performance Rad Hard production Test and Burn-in. Act as a professional and technical mentor to a highly professional team of Production and Maintenance Manager, Technicians and Operators. |

| Requirements |
 |
| Have a broad based semiconductor manufacturing background including experience managing several different groups within Production, Maintenance or Engineering. Familiar with process control methodologies and be able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of their application. Familiar with advanced manufacturing techniques such as Kanban, JIT, short cycle time methodologies, value analysis and TPM. Have approximately ten + years experience in a commercial semiconductor production environment, with at least 10 of those in a management or leadership position. Experienced and enjoy working in a hands-on company environment where the working style is “get the job done correctly first time”. BS/MS Degree in Electrical Engineering and Ten+ years of commercial experience. MBA Degree, not essential, would be an advantage.
