| Description |
|
| Design, develop and characterize high performance, state of the art voltage regulator modules (VRMs) based on Novel company technology. Duties include: Algorithm development and simulation, control loop design. Electrical verification of the VRM. Heatsink design and thermal characterization. Electrical and thermal data collection and documentation. Test data analysis, organization and test report generation for both internal and customer use. Other duties will include application specific support, test automation and PCB supervision. |

| Requirements |
|
| BSEE or MSEE, familiar with basic switching converter topologies. Should have strong background in analog electronics and control system design. Knowledge of digital circuits and simulation tools (Spice, MathCAD, Flotherm) is a plus. Must be willing to occasionally visit customer sites. Overtime may be needed to meet project deadlines. |
