Our client is a Tier 1 international Semiconductor company with annual sales at 16+ billion and growing. This is a newly created role within their growing MCU product group.
In your new role you will:
- Lead global software organization including architecture and product definition in MCUs for IOT, Computing, WiFi/Connectivity product areas.
- Be responsible for Software development tools including Modus Toolbox, software validation and verification.
- Be responsible for the functional integration of the product software & firmware.
- Be responsible for software contract review and negotiation in support of business opportunities.
- Identify industry trends and perform competitive analysis to better align our enablement solutions with the needs of our customers.
Your profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- 10+ years of proven Software Engineering leadership experience with MCU products and tools.
- The ability to provide leadership and direction to 400+ through lower level Managers.
- Have been accountable for the performance and results of a diverse, large, strategically important organization.
- Skills to create, adapt and execute functional targets in alignment with business line / division plans.
